Mr. Thomas J. Copeland, the President of C2G, brings 20 years of international contract experience to lead our team. He also served 22 years in the military as a Chief Master Sergeant, Functional Transportation/Logistics Manager, overseeing large Aerial Ports, Transportation Units, Logistics Readiness Squadrons, and served as a Contracting Manager for the United States Air Force. He is a recognized expert in transportation, logistics, aircraft servicing, and an established operations manager. Mr. Copeland is a co-author of the Defense Transportation Regulation while serving as the Transportation Functional Manager at HQ Pacific Air Forces. He has successfully led his own company for the past ten years. Mr. Copeland has 30 years of experience with the Department of Defense and is a highly decorated service-disabled veteran.

Mr. Richard K. Gilmore is the Chief Operations Officer of C2G. Ken, as he is known within the United States Air Force, brings over twenty-five years of Transportation, Logistics, and Project Management Experience. Before coming to C2G, Ken was part of the Integrated Data Division (Fusion Cell) in Air Mobility Command’s 618th Air and Space Operations Center (TACC) with Unisys Corporation whereas a Functional Data Analyst, he personally gathered all the data for the four-star General morning briefing, to include preparing all the data analysis and slide presentation. Ken has been a Project Manager on the Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport AMC Commercial Gateway contract processing thousands of AMC passengers and ensuring flawless data records and account handling. He retired from active duty after serving over 20 years in the military and has worked with Mr. Copeland for nearly 21 years. He also holds a Master of Arts Degree with dual majors in Human Resource Development and Business Management.

Mr. Karl E. Roberts is C2G Vice President of Global Operations. He has over 35 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply, and distribution and has recently joined us after serving 35 years with Chrysler Corporation at their HQs in Auburn Hills, MI. Karl kept control of all the distribution and supply chain management for the #3 automaker in the world. He has the uncanny ability to foresee situations and implement process improvement to ensure the success of the mission at hand. In all his years of experience, Chrysler never shut down the production of a single assembly line as a result of transportation (distribution). Karl brings a wealth of knowledge from the commercial sector on the movement of goods across all modes of transportation (air, land, rail, sea) to the C2G team. 

Mr. Edward A. Pinnell is C2G Operations Manager. He is a career Air Force Transportation and Logistics expert and brings our management team more than 20 years of experience to include managing Operations at Incirlik AB, Turkey and Charleston AFB, SC. Ed was a part of the 437th Airlift Wing Inspector General and is well versed in quality control and inspection processes. He is well versed in preparing presentations to senior leadership and analyzing the situation. Ed also serves as a prime recruiter for C2G, whereas he routinely provides staffing of analysts, transporters, mechanics, and other required specialties to meet government contracts for and prime contractors as part of our business model. Ed maintains a database of qualified veterans and non-veterans alike worldwide and finds deserving veterans work in the commercial sector. Ed holds a Master of Arts Degree with dual majors in Human Resource Management and Management & Leadership.

Mr. Matthew E. Copeland is C2G Logistics Manager. Matt serves as the focal point for supply and part purchasing and has sourcing down to a science. Matt has shipped engines and other large freight around the world by both air and surface modes. He has maintained numerous quantities of bench stock and expedited replacement fills for high use line items for over 14 locations in 9 countries over 4 continents. He is a recognized “Risk Management” expert and holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation with specializations in aviation, transportation, logistics, warehousing, general liability, and workers compensation. An invaluable asset to the C2G team, providing a Safety first and FAR compliance to each perspective bid and project.
